Ethan Richards {6 months}

I always look forward to sessions with the Richards Family. I have been photographing Brittany and Brooke since they were pregnant with their first son, Tripp, and have become dear friends of mine. I have absolutely loved watching Tripp grow up, and then getting to watch them through their second pregnancy with Ethan. And now sweet little Ethan is 6 months! I can’t believe how fast time flies and how big these two sweet boys are getting! They are the BEST behaved children and were such a joy the entire shoot…I even got a few kisses in! We normally take photos at their property because it’s GORGEOUS, but Brittany wanted something different for Ethan’s 6 months, so we chose one of my favorite spots to photograph! I hope you love these Brittany and Brooke!!!

Black Swan

The Black Swan Shoot has been one of my favorite sessions so far. I loved every single minute of it and it went better than I had even planned for it to. I have to give it up to my girls first and foremost for helping me out on this one – Ashley (White Swan) and Lori (Black Swan)…both who were equally amazing and luckily for me, both are ballerinas.  Without these two, I would not have been able to do this session. Ashley and Lori fit the personalities from the movie perfectly and it allowed me to use elements from the movie and combine it with my own vision for the shoot. I also want to give a big thanks to Paula Walker with Timeless by Paula for creating both of their make up looks.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I loved creating them.

America the Beautiful – Some Memorial Day Love

As we all get ready for our trips to the lake, barbecues, and day off from work, let’s not forget what Memorial Day truly stands for. Memorial Day honors the United States men and women who have died serving their country while in the military. It is a very special day to remember and honor  ALL the people who have served, who are serving in the armed forces, surviving veterans and those who have bravely given their lives for our country. Let us all remember to thank these amazing American Heroes and honor them on this special day of recognition.

I’d like to also personally  honor my Dad for serving in the Army and sacrificing so much for our family and country. You are a hero and will always be one to me Dad. I am so proud of you and all the work you have done. I am so fortunate to have lived the life of an “Army Brat” under your wings. You have taught me to be open minded and accept change and embrace it.

Abbie Lin {Newborn}

Abbie Lin’s newborn session was so much fun! She was 15 days new the day of her BIG DEBUT! She was such an easy baby and slept pretty much the whole time! We tried to incorporate a few things from Mel and Jeremy’s maternity session (i.e. balloons) and plan on using some of the other same props at her 6 month photo shoot!! We took the photos at Mel’s house in Atlanta and luckily we were blessed with beautiful weather outside and were able to shoot some outside, as well as in Abbie Lin’s nursery! Abbie Lin’s nursery is absolutely adorable! It is yellow and pink primarily with adorable bookshelves, wall decor and personalized accents! I hope you enjoy these as much as I did taking them!

Hailey, Lauren & Monika {Sweet 16}

This sweet 16 shoot was so much fun….the girls were amazing – so laid back and my cheeks hurt when we were done because I think we laughed through the entire shoot. Hailey, Lauren and Monika’s birthdays are all close together, so the three of them had a sweet 16 party together and wanted some photos to put around their party reception! These girls nailed all the shots we took and surprised me with how much they knew about poses that worked for them!
