Hailey Gatins | Chattahoochee HS 2014

I was so excited when Hailey and her mom contacted me for senior photos. I had already worked with them before for Hailey’s sweet 16 photos about a year and a half ago. Hailey and her mom were so great at the last shoot that I knew we would just have so much fun with her senior pictures! Hailey decided to use Roswell Mill as the location and I definitely think it was a great fit for her! She brought lots of pretty outfits and they worked nicely with the backgrounds we had to shoot with there. I really love that she brought her letterman jacket and sports gear as well so we could incorporate that as well. Hailey was even sweet enough to let me play with my American Flag scarf and try out some different poses with her! We had a blast the entire session and shot for probably 3 hours total after a wonderful hour of make up by the one and only Amanda Ford with Lace Cosmetics. (Nothing but  the best for my seniors!) Hailey – I hope you LOVE your last year of high school and your senior pictures! Thanks again for choosing me:)

Allison Jones | West Forsyth High School 2014

Allison was my first senior with the graduating class of 2014! I was so excited to photograph her because of this, and she happened to be my very first red headed beauty as well! We weren’t sure if we would be able to have our session due to the inclement weather but the awesome (insert sarcasm here) weather people said that where we were shooting would only have a 5% chance of rain for a small window of time….so of course we went ahead with the shoot! We started make up with the fabulous Amanda Ford with Lace Cosmetics (if you haven’t checked out her work – you definitely should – and of course half way through it started POURING! I really wish I had a behind the scenes shot of this because Amanda and Allison were under her car continuing with make up and Allison’s mom and I were both holding umbrellas to shield the rain! The rest of the shoot the weather was very off and on – it would be very sunny, then start raining again – but luckily for me, Allison was so amazing and didn’t seem bothered one bit by the rain – she just went with it and even had some fun at the end of our session jumping in a big puddle with the rain coming down around her! And I have to give it to her mom as well, who is a very hilarious woman:)She had me cracking up most of the session and wait until you see the amazing banner she made for Allison’s pictures!!! Allison – thank you for ‘running to me’ for your senior session after your other experience:)I am so lucky you chose me to be your senior photographer! xoxo

Kinsley Addison Fry {3 years}

I went to St. Louis for a week to help my sister out while she had surgery and of course I knew that while I was there I wanted to snap some photos of my adorable little niece Kinsley! I honestly thought I wasn’t going to get any while I was there because I was so busy helping with my sister, around the house, or chasing after the wee one! Luckily, the last morning I was there we were able to convince Kinsley to wear a dress (She normally hates dresses, skirts, etc – complete tomboy!) and then we took her out to play with bubbles! The lighting was gorgeous outside and I’m really happy with the photos I was able to get in the short amount of time we had. Kinsley will be 3 on June 23! Love you Kinsley!

The Zey Family

Hannah, Paul and little Madelyn {20 months} and I had so much fun on their family shoot. We went to Archibald Smith Plantation in Roswell and it was absolutely beautiful – there were flowers blooming everywhere which really added some nice pops of color in the photos. Madelyn had a great time running around the plantation and finding new ‘toys’ to play with. Of course her favorite thing was the Plantation House itself so she wasn’t too thrilled when we moved away from there since we couldn’t get inside:)She did happen to find a stone lion that she lOVED and just had fun exploring the grounds. She was very well behaved, which made my job so much easier! Of course Hannah and Paul were both super laid back which made Madelyn feel more comfortable there and with me. Zey family-  I hope you LOVE your photos!

Yeva + John | Alpharetta, GA

Yeva and John were such an incredible couple and I was so lucky that they asked me to take their engagement photos. Our original date was rained out but on our second try, we had the most GORGEOUS weather possible for a shoot! We went to a few different locations around Suwanee and Alpharetta. I was excited to try out a few new spots I had never used before and they turned out beautiful! Yeva chose gorgeous outfits for the shoot and I loved her bright pink lipstick she wore – it really complemented her beautiful skin tone and hair. John was super relaxed and was willing to try anything and happened to be Mr. GQ during the whole shoot! He even came up with some ideas himself, which I loved! We probably shot for about 3-4 hours but it only felt like a few minutes because we had such a fun time during the whole shoot – I’m pretty sure I cracked a few bad jokes through the set too to get these two laughing =) Yeva and John – I hope you will cherish your engagement photos forever and I wish you both the best of luck in your upcoming marriage.
