Tristan Rogers | Horizon HS 2015

Tristan was so much fun to shoot! I was excited to bring a guy in the mix and what a cutie he is! He was so easy going and was up for any pose/location spot I had in mind. He even had some ideas of his own that we incorporated into the shoot. My favorite part of his session was the beginning when he brought his girlfriend Rachel in for some couple photos. These two love birds wanted to get dressed up in their homecoming outfits and get pictures by the LOVE sign in Old Town Scottsdale and at the Sugar Bowl. I had been dying to do a session at the Sugar Bowl – it is the cutest little old fashioned ice cream shop with so many different options for photos! I of course wanted to use the bar when I immediately saw it for their milkshake pictures and then we used a couple other spots in the store too! We then headed over to the LOVE sign and finished up their couple pictures there. From there, the spotlight was on only Tristan! We all had such a great time hanging out and finding spots to take pictures! Tristan (and Rachel!) I hope you love your photos!

Emma Miller | 16 months

Get ready to oooooh and ahhhhh over this little cutie! Emma is absolutely adorable at 16 months old and is starting to walk on her own. It was perfect timing for a session to showcase some of her new moves. Emma, her mommy Tatum, and I went to a little park near their home. It was just what we needed – an open space with some grass, trees, and shade! (Shade is a must here in sunny Arizona during the hot months!) It was a little muggier than we planned on so we only had about 30-40 minutes of shoot time before poor little Emma was sweating all over. We incorporated her pink chair and a teeny tulle skirt with some pearls for some girlie elements. We were really lucky, because about half way through the session, a neighborhood dog named Lucy came through and made Emma’s day! The minute Emma spotted Lucy, she was smiling from ear to ear and we were able to get some adorable shots of Emma with Lucy. I just loved getting time to shoot this cutie! Art and Tatum – I hope you two love these photos as much as I do! xoxo

Rachel Redleaf | Horizon HS 2015

Rachel is my other beautiful girl senior rep from Horizon High School! I was so excited to work with her because she wanted something different and unique that fit her personality. Rachel is an aspiring actress and loves bright, bold, and colorful things. After some discussions about possible locations, we decided on downtown Phoenix for some amazing graffiti walls and then to head down to Tempe to hit up the Tempe Center for the Arts and Tempe Town Lake area. Both were elements that were important to Rachel to include. I love how the graffiti just pops behind her in these photos – and as you can tell, Phoenix graffiti is more than just that – it’s art and it’s done by some amazing artists! There are so many nooks and crannies in Phoenix that have amazing wall art like these pictures and it’s something you have to go see if you can! After downtown, we went back to my amazing makeup artist’s house (Stephanie with SN Makeup Artist) to refresh Rachel’s hair and makeup! (Rachel went with the hair/makeup combo add on and I’m so glad that she did because that meant she got more than one look for her session! We started basic and light and amped it up for the later shots!) Once we finished touching up, we went straight to the Tempe Center for the Arts and let me tell you, it’s simply breathtaking. It sits right on Tempe Town Lake and behind the Center, there are amazing water features and different areas for photos. We weren’t the only ones there using that beautiful location and I could definitely see why! My favorite location there had to be the bridge we used very last – the way it lit up at night was just breathtaking and Rachel just beamed on it! Oh I just love all these photos Rachel and I hope you do too! If you want to learn more about the senior experience with me, be sure to ask Rachel for more info!

Megan Cary | Pinnacle HS 2015

Ahhhhhhhhh I’m so excited to share Megan’s senior session because it is the epitome of an Arizona session to me! Since the moment we moved here, I had been dying to shoot a straight desert session in all of it’s glory. I needed a break from grass, trees, you name it, anything that resembled what I shot in Georgia for a slight break and some variety in my photos. When Megan said she LOVED the desert location I knew of (thanks to my amazing make up artist), I knew that this was my chance to really showcase how beautiful and glamorous the desert can be. I know what you are thinking, but trust me, add in the right pieces and you have glamour right in the middle of the desert. (insert the amazing jewelry headpiece I scored right before our session) We of course started with make up by the one and only Stephanie of SN Makeup Artist. I love that Megan came prepared with the look she wanted – bronzed goddess- and of course Stephanie killed the look! Our location was just amazing – it had a lot of different desert options – water oasis surrounded by palm trees, straight desert with beautiful desert plants, and rocks galore. I couldn’t have asked for a better senior to be my first full desert session! Megan – I hope you love your photos and I’m so glad you are a rep for me! xoxo

Sydney Sprenger | Horizon HS 2015

I am so thrilled to share my first session and senior in the beautiful state of Arizona! I just moved here from Atlanta, Georgia in mid July and I am so excited to finally start being able to work with seniors again since my big move! Sydney was so sweet to be my very first Senior Rep in Arizona and we had an amazing time at her senior session. Sydney is absolutely gorgeous as you can see in these pics, but what really amazed me was her beautiful personality I got to know through our time together before, during and after the shoot. Sydney and her family are the most genuine, kind people I have ever met. From the beginning of her session, Sydney’s sweet mom was offering us food and drinks and making sure we were comfortable in their house while Sydney was getting her makeup done by the very talented makeup artist Stephanie, owner of SN Makeup Artist. (Please check out her amazing work! From Sydney’s house, we headed to the Fairmont Princess Hotel where Sydney’s mother and father were married. I love that the mom wanted to incorporate a meaningful place to them for Sydney’s senior pictures. I have to admit, shooting at a hotel didn’t seem like it was going to be a great location initially by what I saw on the website (just regular hotel pictures) and I knew I didn’t want the pictures to look like we went to a hotel for the shots. Also, getting permission to shoot at a hotel is nearly impossible. Insert Sydney’s mom Sylvia – she worked her sweet magic and got us permission to shoot there and told me about all the magical spots we could take pictures inside. I was very eager to see what this hotel had that was so special. Well, I was simply taken back and amazing by what I saw upon entering the hotel and the grounds. There were so many beautiful little spots hidden I couldn’t believe it! A hidden gem for sure! Every spot seemed perfect for the outfit and idea we had in mind that we encountered. After the hotel (and a glass of wine – thanks to Sydney’s mom), we found a little patch of desert near the hotel to take some desert shots. How did we end the shoot? With pizza and salad from Grimaldis! It was really such a fun time and they made me feel apart of their family instantly! Thanks so much for a fun shoot and being one of my beautiful senior reps Sydney!
